HexaHessman proudly serves as one of Southeast Asia's official representatives of Shibata Fenders Team.
ShibataFenderTeam (SFT) is recognized as a global leader in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply of high-performance fender systems for maritime applications. With a proud legacy spanning over five decades, SFT has consistently delivered cutting-edge and reliable solutions that safeguard ports, harbors, terminals, and offshore structures around the world.
The SPC Cone Fender is an efficient rubber fender type that is used in various applications. It has a conical body and fully rubber-embedded mounting flanges. Its refined geometry and conical shape result in a number of outstanding performance characteristics.
SPC Cone Fenders are available in heights between 300 and 2,000 mm, each in 3 different main rubber grades, optionally: overload stoppers to avoid over compression.

Applications
The FE Element Fenders are fully moulded rubber legs with embedded mounting plates. Based on V Fenders but with separate legs, FE Element Fender provides high layout flexibility when installed behind steel panels or where mounting space is limited.
FE Element Fenders are available in heights between 250 and 1,600 mm, in standard lengths ranging from 500 to 2,000 mm, each in 3 different main rubber grades.
Characteristics
Applications
The Cylindrical Fender was the first rubber fender type to be produced with a defined performance. Installation is simple by using chains, bars, ropes or specially designed ladder brackets, depending on the fender size and substructure. The Cylindrical Fenders‘ proportional increase of reaction force and energy absorption to the rated deflection is an advantage, resulting in softer berthing.
Cylindrical Fenders are available extruded and wrapped, depending on the size. They are available in outside diameters up to 2,700 mm and inside diameters ranging from 50 to 1,300 mm, variable in length up to 20 m. The length is mainly limited by handling and transpor,t and typically, very long Cylindrical Fenders are used for tug boat bows and are often split in 3 sections.
All Cylindrical Fenders could be delivered with the respective fixings (chains, brackets, support bar, ladder brackets).
The Pneumatic Fender is an abrasion-resistant rubber fender filled with high-pressure air. It can easily be deflated, which allows simple and cost-effective relocation and re-commissioning in other locations.
Pneumatic Fenders are supplied with two different inside pressure levels to cover a wide performance range.
Pneumatic Fenders are available in diameters ranging from 300 mm to 4,500 mm and lengths ranging from 500 mm to 9,000 mm, as well as special sizes.
All sizes are available as sling-type or with a heavy-duty chain & tire net.
Standard colours are black and grey (Navy); other colours are available upon request.
Characteristics
Applications
Parallel Motion Fenders are individually engineered systems and could be designed with different rubber fender units, but typically with Cone Fenders, Cell Fenders or Element Fenders.
A turning lever arm (torsion arm) is mounted between the back structure (concrete or steel) and the frontal steel panel. The arm restrains the panel movement during the entire fender compression, allowing it to move only parallel to its mounting, irrespective of impact level and angle.
Parallel Motion Fender systems have to be uniquely designed for each project to cover all the individual vessel and berthing requirements, as well as the site conditions.
Characteristics
Applications
The Hydropneumatic Fender is a special version of the Pneumatic Fender developed for submarines. Hydropneumatic Fenders are partially filled with water and air and are equipped with a counterweight in order to keep them in a vertical position. This ensures that the submerged hull is properly protected by the fender at all times.
Hydropneumatic Fenders require some special installation techniques to be installed. The performance of Hydropneumatic Fenders is affected by the air: water ratio and the initial pressure.

Applications
The Ocean Guard Fender is a foam fender, designed based on a heat laminated 100% closed cell foam core and a tough and thick nylon filament reinforced polyurethane skin and embedded end fittings. Ocean Guard Fenders convince with high energy absorption, hull conforming capabilities, non-marking skin and low maintenance.
Ocean Guard Fenders are available in diameters from 500 mm to 4,500 mm and lengths from 800 mm to 10,600 mm, in different foam hardness grades, as well as special shapes and sizes. The fenders could be installed with a two or four-point mounting system, depending on the application.
Characteristics
Applications
The Roller Fender is generally built from an energy-absorbing elastomer unit which is mounted onto a single rotating shaft. This unit is designed with maintenance-free bearings, typically made from stainless steel and composite materials.
Mounted into a steel casing, it can rotate freely. The main purpose of Roller Fenders is to act as a guiding system for a smooth and safe passage.
Roller Fenders can be installed in various combinations, such as:
